What the mobile app stores on your device

The app can save a fighter watchlist on your device so your saved fighters remain available between sessions. This watchlist is stored locally and is not uploaded to a Cage Index account or profile service.

Rendered fighter and head-to-head share cards are generated locally as temporary image files. If you choose to share one, your device operating system and the destination you select handle that share.

Network requests and technical data

The app and website may request public rankings, fighter images, and other Cage Index content from thecageindex.com. As with most websites and content-delivery services, hosting or delivery providers may automatically process technical request information such as an IP address, request time, user-agent information, and requested resource to deliver, secure, and operate the service.

The Cage Index does not use app traffic for cross-app advertising or behavioral profiling.

Data the mobile app does not request

• No account registration or login credentials.
• No precise or approximate location permission.
• No contacts, calendar, microphone, camera, or health-data access.
• No payment card or financial-account information.
• No advertising identifier or third-party advertising SDK.
• No sale of personal information.

Website analytics and communications

The website may use limited technical or aggregate usage information to understand performance and engagement. If you voluntarily submit contact or subscription information through a future or existing website feature, it will be used to provide the communication you requested.

Third-party platforms

Apple App Store, Google Play, your device operating system, your chosen share destination, social platforms, and infrastructure providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use those services. The Cage Index does not control those independent services.

Retention and your choices

You can remove fighters from the in-app watchlist at any time. Uninstalling the app removes app-local watchlist data from the device in the ordinary course of operating-system behavior. Temporary share files are managed by the device and may be removed by the operating system.

Technical server or CDN logs, if retained by a service provider, are handled according to that provider's operational and security practices.

Children

The Cage Index is a combat-sports analytics product and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and questions

This policy may be updated as app or website features change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
